Corona del Mar, CA (June 18, 2008) – Landmark Restaurant and Lounge, today announced the addition of live piano entertainment. The spacious, albeit cozy lounge is now framed by the addition of a classic baby grand piano, further defining Landmark as the city’s premiere destination for dining, drinking and quality lounge entertainment.
Guests can enjoy live piano music while sipping on a pre-dinner cocktail or simply relaxing at the newly remolded zebrawood and lava ash top bar. Or better yet, pony up to the piano, which features stools and a custom-built zebrawood bar top of its own. This feature allows guests intimate face-to-face interaction with the performer and a unique overall entertaining experience.
The new lounge act features accomplished pianist, Ed Waters performing throughout the week beginning each Tuesday at 6pm. Waters, a talented veteran pianist and musician has been perfecting his craft for over thirty years and has performed all over the country opening for such acts as Billy Idol and the Tubes among others. The piano bar follows a complete renovation to the restaurant’s spacious and decidedly intimate dining rooms, lounge and outdoor patio, providing a fresh take on classic and contemporary surroundings. The warm atmosphere and cordial service plays host to the special emphasis placed on the food, wine and overall dining experience.
Landmark is located blocks from the Pacific Ocean in the heart of Corona del Mar. The restaurant is open for dinner each day from 5:00pm to 10:30pm. Cocktails are served until 12:30am Sunday through Thursdays and until 1:30am Friday and Saturday.
